The well-regarded school boasts a tight community of alumni who actually litigate the cases they work on. John was enamored from the start, taking every opportunity to practice in mock trials and exploring new legal topics when he was on Law Review. He sought practical education opportunities, working full time through law school at some of the best firms in Boston.

John is a lifelong baseball fan and was thrilled to start his legal career as a clerk for a local firm whose main client was your Boston Red Sox. He then clerked for Federal Court Judge Patti Saris when she was head of the United States Sentencing Commission. There, John gained invaluable writing experience from the best legal minds in the country. During his second year of law school, Attorney Peck dove into personal injury work. He continued as a clerk for top boutique firms in Boston, eventually leading the litigation group at Nussbaum Law Group for five years.

John’s interest in personal injury law stems from a fundamental tenet of wanting to help others. The legal field has always interested me since I was young, because I always wanted to work in a challenging field where you are constantly learning. The legal field challenges you to think analytically and apply the skills you learned to each case. Law is interesting because each case is unique from one another and the law is constantly changing.

Personal injury has always been interesting to me and it's a field that always helps the community. Many people might get overwhelmed with their personal injury cases because it seems very complex and they might not know where to start or how to advocate for themselves. Why Law?
As an LSU graduate with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. in Anthropology who intends to attend law school in 2025, the crossover of these disciplines encouraged an appreciation for the complexities of human biology, behavior, and societal systems. However, my interest of justice and advocacy eventually led me to the field of law. My scientific background, which gave me analytical skills and a thorough approach to problem resolution, together with a knowledge of the complexity of human interaction and societal systems, sparked my interest in law.

After witnessing the physical, emotional, and financial toll that accidents and negligence have on families firsthand, I felt drawn to pursue a position in personal injury law, where I could personally help others suffering similar issues. With a combination of scientific analysis and empathy, I am committed to supporting those in need and hope to help make a difference in their lives.
