John is a lifelong baseball fan and was thrilled to start his legal career as a clerk for a local firm whose main client was your Boston Red Sox. He then clerked for Federal Court Judge Patti Saris when she was head of the United States Sentencing Commission. There, John gained invaluable writing experience from the best legal minds in the country. During his second year of law school, Attorney Peck dove into personal injury work. He continued as a clerk for top boutique firms in Boston, eventually leading the litigation group at Nussbaum Law Group for five years.

Why Law?
As an LSU graduate with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. in Anthropology who intends to attend law school in 2025, the crossover of these disciplines encouraged an appreciation for the complexities of human biology, behavior, and societal systems. However, my interest of justice and advocacy eventually led me to the field of law. My scientific background, which gave me analytical skills and a thorough approach to problem resolution, together with a knowledge of the complexity of human interaction and societal systems, sparked my interest in law.

After witnessing the physical, emotional, and financial toll that accidents and negligence have on families firsthand, I felt drawn to pursue a position in personal injury law, where I could personally help others suffering similar issues.
